Protect Your Body
Barefoot massage saves your hands, wrists and shoulders while allowing you to deliver the deep, consistent pressure clients love.
Work Smarter, Not Harder
Use gravity and your body weight instead of muscle effort, so every session feels effortless yet powerful.
Expand Career Longevity
This technique isn’t just a new skill—it’s a way to keep practicing, growing, and serving clients for decades to come.
Upcoming Classes

Teaching Therapists to Work Smarter
After more than three decades in bodywork, I’ve learned that great teaching isn’t about memorizing routines, it’s about understanding why things work. My Rolfing® training gives me a sharp eye for posture and mechanics, and I love helping students apply those details in real sessions.

My classes are hands-on, practical, and full of laughter. I share what I’ve learned so you can skip the trial and error, and start working smarter sooner. Barefoot massage helped me protect my hands and stay in the work; I want the same kind of longevity for you.
Why Train in Durham with Julie
Therapists don’t just choose a location, they choose an instructor.

All CBM instructors teach Fundamentals. In Durham, I also teach Intermediate, Advanced, and Clinical (which I co-authored). I’ve been with CBM since the beginning and I am one of its senior instructors.
My specialty in Rolfing® Structural Integration shapes how I teach; more fascia-based, and very practical for real-world sessions.

Therapists travel from across the Southeast and across the country to train here. For some, Durham becomes more than a training stop—it becomes an ongoing resource for mentoring, professional connection, and future opportunities.
