Specializing in Pregnancy/Prenatal Massage and Advance Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage
I received my first professional massage for sports-related injuries and it was an ‘Aha!’ moment for me. I was amazed at the pain relief and relaxation I felt and knew I wanted to learn how to help others feel that same amazing relief. At my training at The Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC in 2012, I became fascinated with anatomy and the body’s ability to heal and adapt. I believe that pairing deep relaxation with effective work allows the body to release patterns that contribute to imbalances and pain. I enjoy using a mindful, slow pace to allow muscles to relax into deeper work.
I blend Swedish, Deep Tissue and Trigger point techniques in my work and have been incorporating Barefoot Massage into my sessions since 2016 when I took my first class with Julie. I absolutely love working with Perinatal/Pregnant clients (I’ve been lucky to use massage for my sisters during 4 labors!) I appreciate client feedback so our work can evolve around your needs.
I recently relocated to the area from Ocracoke Island, NC and I am enjoying exploring the cities, parks, and local events with my family. I have two young, adventurous daughters who keep my life silly, sweet and filled with dance parties. Outside of work, I am in the gym, experimenting in the kitchen, or pouring myself more coffee.
